This year the College ran the annual creative writing competition and the theme was “Chasing Happiness”.
The calibre of the writing from students was phenomenal and we are so proud of their achievements and what they have created. We would love to congratulate Reeta Shamoon in Grade 9 who won the junior Creative Writing Award and Erika Dos Santos in Grade 12, who won the Senior Creative Writing Award. Both recipients will also have their stories published in the annual 'Shared Stories Anthology'. This publication is an annual anthology of creative works by Primary and Secondary school students from Catholic Schools across Victoria.
We are also incredibly proud of Erika Dos Santos who has gone on to win the 'ACU Writing Award' for her winning story, titled 'Succulents'.
Well done to all the students who entered stories this year, we look forward to next year's competition and the incredible stories that will emerge from our talented students.
