This February, Kolbe Catholic College is excited to celebrate Library Lovers' Month with a unique reading initiative designed to captivate students and encourage a love of literature. In a creative twist, the college library is inviting students to embark on a “blind date with a book". The concept is simple - the library staff has wrapped several mystery titles, concealing the identities of the books inside. Each wrapped book comes with a summary or a set of clues, designed to spark curiosity and inspire students to take a chance on a reading adventure.

Students are encouraged to visit the library where they can choose a wrapped book that calls to them. With each selection, they are diving into a surprise reading experience that could lead to discovering a new favourite title or author. Engaging with literature in such an unexpected way encourages students to broaden their reading horizons and explore genres they might not typically consider.
