Areas of Interest
Every Year 12 student is encouraged to book an interview with Ms Williams to discuss their post Kolbe options. During these interviews we will discuss possible courses, relevant institutes and potential employment opportunities. These meetings are currently been held during Tuesday and Wednesday's study sessions for VCE students and PC for VCAL students.
If you are yet to make a time, please do so prior to the end of term.
Every student will need a Tax File Number before finishing Year12. This is required to begin work or to apply for HECS financial support. Applying for a Tax File Number is online via https://www.ato.gov.au/individuals/tax-file-number/apply-for-a-tfn/
If you don't have a tax file number and plan on studying post Kolbe or gaining employment, this will delay this process for you.
Every Year 10 Student is required to undertake Work Experience. The college has allocated the last week of Term Two for this to occur (June 20 - June 24). During this week, there will be no formal Year 10 classes. Students are encouraged to begin looking for a placement now, so as to ensure they have the best opportunities available. There is paperwork that must be completed prior to starting Work Experience - these can be collected from Ms Williams in her office J7 or via their pathways teachers.
