As we continue to experience rapid growth at the school, with many new staff joining the College community to cater for our ever-expanding student numbers, the Spotlight Series, launched last year, is designed to ensure our families and community remain connected to our Kolbe staff.
In each Newsletter, we are putting one of our amazing Kolbe teachers or education support staff in the spotlight and asking them to share a little about themself. These profiles, along with the staff member’s photo, will appear on our Kolbe website and on our social media channels.
In this edition, we focus on Year 7 and 8 Curriculum Leader, Chris Micallef.

We look forward to sharing a little bit about many other staff as the year progresses and encourage students and parents to take a moment to read these profiles.
Very best wishes to Mrs Rebecca Rossitto and Ms Shona Brooks who have recently begun maternity leave. Congratulations to Shona on the safe arrival of baby girl Morgan on March 13.
We also farewell Sue Kift, Brandon Camilleri, Lexandra Eliah and Zenaib Ali whose work in Learning Support has been invaluable. We extend our thanks to them all, and congratulate Brandon and Lexandra who have both been studying for their education degrees. From Term 2, Brandon will be taking up a Permission to Teach Mathematics teaching position at Sunbury College, Lexandra will take on teaching English at Salesian College. We wish them the best for their new roles.
