From the Deputy Principal (Staff)

As the busy year draws to a close, I would like to acknowledge the hard work of the Kolbe staff and wish everyone a well-deserved Christmas break.

Leave and Farewells

As the school year draws to a close, we extend our best wishes and thanks to the staff who are moving on to other adventures.

After 12 years at Kolbe and 41 years in Catholic Education, Bernadette Tancock heads into retirement with the thanks and gratitude of our entire community.

Other teachers being farewelled include: Kate Todorovic, Curriculum Leader (Years 11 & 12), Donna Lierse, Tessa Diamond and Daniela Petracca. We also thank Alicia Messina (Counsellor), Alison Roberts (Literacy Tutor and Pre-Service Teacher Coordinator) and Meena Hana (MEA / LSO).

Finally we wish Lara Black (STEM and Accelerated Learning Coordinator) and Jessica Botani (Academic Tutor) our congratulations as they prepare to welcome new additions to their families next year.

New Staff Induction

We were excited to welcome and host 13 new staff to Kolbe this week, to support their smooth transition to our community. This will be followed by Day 2 of the Program early next year before students return.

I was delighted to feel the energy and excitement of our newest recruits who collectively bring a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion to the school.

It promises to be a wonderful year ahead in 2025.
