Welcome to a brand-new school year! I hope you all had a wonderful summer filled with rest and memorable moments. It is with great excitement that I welcome our new families to Kolbe Catholic College and welcome back our returning students and parents.

The start of a new school year is always filled with energy and anticipation, and I am thrilled to embark on this journey with you. Our teachers and staff have been working diligently to prepare for an incredible year, and we can’t wait to see our students dive into learning, build friendships, and achieve new goals.

I am also personally excited to be back after spending the last six months on secondment to MACS as the General Manager Western Region. While it was a valuable experience, I truly missed being part of the daily life here, and I am eager to reconnect with students, staff, and families.

This year, my personal goal is to be even more present in our classrooms and throughout the school. While I love the work that happens in my office, the heart of our school is in the classrooms and playgrounds where learning and growth happen every day. I look forward to spending more time connecting with students, engaging with teachers, and celebrating the amazing things happening at Kolbe.

As we begin this new year, let’s remember that our school community thrives when we work together. Communication, collaboration, and mutual support are key ingredients in our success. I encourage you to stay engaged - whether it’s through attending school events or participating in our parent engagement activities throughout the year.

I look forward to an exciting year ahead.
