14 AUG 2024 Languages Week

We had a fun filled week celebrating Languages at Kolbe Catholic College. The week was from Monday 22 until Friday 26 July. We engaged in a lot of activities at lunchtimes and took part in an excursion on Wednesday 24 July to the Italian Museum, followed by a delicious lunch at Universal Restaurant in Lygon Street, Carlton. The students were captivated by the heartfelt migration stories we listened to at the Italian Museum at COASIT in Carlton.

The activities during the week included:

• Prayers in languages prior to PC
• Italian music played by Mr. Musto and students dancing to the Tarantella
• photos taken at the Photo Booth
• Soccer match played with staff versus students
• Italian Trivia
• Italian Master Class
• Drumming
• a beautiful display in the library by Ms. Taylor.

A big thank you to the entire Kolbe community for their enthusiasm and support.
