Applications for the Year 8-10 2022 Ignite Program and the Year 9-10 2022 Mathematics Enrichment Program have now closed. The applications are currently being reviewed in conjunction with student academic data. The next phase of the process for entry into these programs will involve interviews and/or the collection of further evidence of learning. Students and families will be advised of the status of their applications in Term Four 2022.
The College Remote Learning Plan and Remote Learning Suite continue to provide students with access to high quality learning opportunities despite their context for learning. Over the past week students have attended virtual excursions, participated in the Online Co Curricular Program, attended virtual Homework Club and completed authentic assessment across all subjects that provides them a platform to further develop and showcase their knowledge, skill and understanding. Families are reminded that copies of the College Remote Learning Plan are available for download via SEQTA. In periods of Remote Learning, all elements of the student learning schedule remain in operation. Students and families are to be congratulated on their continued success in this sphere.
Members of College staff continue to release student summative assessment results via SEQTA. Families will receive a push notification each time results become available. Results can be accessed in the 'Assessment Tab' in the SEQTA Portal. Families with questions or requiring assistance with this are welcome to make contact with myself at the College.
The College will be hosting an Online VET and VCAL Information Evening for any students who have selected these programs for 2022. The event will be held on Monday 30 August 2021 at 7.00pm and will occur via Google Hangouts. Students and families will receive further information inclusive of the Online Access Link prior to the event.
