As the year comes to a close, we reflect on the incredible journey of the Performing Arts program. We celebrate the many programs, clubs, memories, and melodies that have defined the past 12 months.
This year, the programs reached new heights, with a record number of participants joining our musical family. From the incredible talent displayed at Kolbe’s Got Talent to the electric energy of the annual showcase, every performance has been a testament to the collective dedication and love for the performing arts.
For me, the greatest highlight has been seeing Kolbe students consistently support and encourage each other. Performing in front of an audience—especially peers—requires immense courage. However, the positive and supportive environment at Kolbe makes it easier for students to shine.
Our Performing Arts staff, including teachers and tutors, have gone above and beyond to nurture students' interests this year. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them for their hard work, dedication, and the success they’ve helped our students achieve.
We also wish all students who recently completed Year 12 the best as they move on from Kolbe and sincerely thank them for their invaluable contribution to our community.
Next year promises to be even more exciting, with even more opportunities on the horizon. Dates are already confirmed for a recording studio visit, a Melbourne Theatre Company experience, an Aged Care home tour, as well as Kolbe’s Got Talent and the annual Showcase.
We are excited to introduce a Music Soiree, where private tuition students will have the opportunity to perform for their families and friends, alongside the launch of private Dance tuition lessons and lunchtime Music Concerts.
To all the families who have attended and supported our Performing Arts events throughout the year—thank you!
Wishing everyone a safe and joyful festive season!
