This Term, several industry experts from Monash University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Science travelled to Kolbe to run a workshop for the students in Year 12 Chemistry.
They shared their expertise on High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) with the class. This was a very valuable learning experience as these are techniques that use incredibly expensive and specific equipment with only a handful of NMR instruments in the whole of Australia.
The students also got an insight on university life from these Monash PhD students and what it is like to work in the top ranked college of Pharmacy and Pharmacology in the world.
