As the enrolment season begins for various Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions, the VET (Vocational Education and Training) Department at Kolbe College is diligently working to secure preferred spots for our students. With a commitment to providing quality vocational education and training opportunities, the department is striving to ensure students have access to the courses that align with their career aspirations.
To facilitate this process, Kolbe College is closely monitoring the enrolment openings and deadlines of different TAFEs, ensuring that our students have the best chance of securing a place in their desired programs. The VET Department in conjunction with the Careers team, is actively guiding students through the enrolment process and offering valuable advice and assistance to help them make informed decisions about their educational pathways.
Kolbe College is dedicated to keeping our students and the wider parent community informed about these enrolment and information nights. Important dates and locations will be promptly published to ensure everyone has access to the relevant information. The first upcoming enrolment night, hosted at Parade Bundoora's 'Greening Auditorium' (1436 Plenty Rd Bundoora) on 16th August at 7 pm, is a prime example of the effort invested in connecting students with opportunities beyond the school's boundaries.
Furthermore, Kolbe College is also organizing a VCE Vocational Major and VET information night on 28th August, which will be a valuable resource for students considering various academic and vocational pathways within the college.
By actively engaging with TAFE institutions, RTOs, and the community, the VET Department at Kolbe College aims to support its students' vocational aspirations and ensure that they receive the best possible guidance for their future careers. Through these initiatives, Kolbe College remains committed to empowering students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their chosen fields, contribute positively to society and aspiring to be more.
