Each student is part of a year-level Pastoral Care group (e.g., 7A), led by a dedicated PC teacher. You’ll meet your group every morning to start the day together. Your PC teacher will also be your go-to person for any questions or concerns and will work closely with your Year Level Leader to support and guide you throughout the year.
Our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Program focuses on building respectful relationships and developing key life skills for all students:
Every fortnight, students gather in their House Groups for Extended Pastoral Care. It’s a great opportunity to connect with peers from all year levels, participate in fun games, and enjoy interactive quizzes. You’ll also get to celebrate your House pride, including special events like House Feast Day. It’s all about teamwork, fun, and strengthening our school community!
When your child starts Year 7 at Kolbe Catholic College, they will be loaned a MacBook pre-loaded with all necessary school applications and software.
The device is on loan until the end of Year 9, with the option to transfer ownership under the conditions outlined in the "Terms and Conditions."
The loan fee is included in the ICT Levy, which is applied to your fee account for Years 7, 8, and 9.
At Kolbe, pastoral care is at the heart of everything we do, both in the classroom and through our House System. Our approach focuses on building strong relationships and supporting students in their personal, academic, social, and spiritual growth.
Upon enrolment, each student is assigned to a House, with siblings placed in the same one. To learn more about our House patrons and values, please visit our House System page.
Kolbe Catholic College is dedicated to maintaining a respectful, safe, and supportive learning environment. Students are responsible for wearing the uniform correctly and upholding College policies at all times, whether on campus or representing the school offsite.
For a full list of uniform expectations, please refer to the Uniform Guide.
If health, medical, or religious reasons prevent adherence to the uniform policy, please contact the Deputy Principal - Students for guidance.
Breaches of this policy may result in sanctions, as outlined in the Student Behaviour Policy.
Our school uniform can be purchased at Academy Uniforms in Craigieburn, located at 71 Potter Street, or online through their website. Uniform fittings for Year 7 students starting in 2025 will be held later this year.
Parents can access all portals through the Parent Portals page on our website.
The canteen is open on school days for breakfast, snacks, recess, and lunch, offering healthy food and drinks that align with the Education Department’s Healthy Eating Policy.
To order your child's books, please visit www.campion.com.au. The code for next year's book list will be provided soon.
Along with the Booklist, we provide a suggested stationery list. These items can be purchased to support your child's learning. There are no specific brands or styles required.

Kolbe Catholic College is conscious of the need to provide an efficient process for families to be able to buy and sell their second-hand textbooks, uniforms and other student resources.
Parents can buy and sell second-hand items (uniforms and books) via the Sustainable School Shop website. www.sustainableschoolshop.com.au
Kolbe Catholic College offers a chartered bus service on school days, covering routes to the north, south, east, and west. Routes are adjusted each year based on student registrations to minimise travel time. Public bus stops are used for pick-up and drop-off, and all buses are equipped with CCTV and a Roll Call system that provides parents with real-time visibility of their child's journey.
Bus fees are paid in advance and are approximately $850 for the 2025 school year. For more information or to book a spot, please visit our Bus Service page.
